Malvanegra Bianco
Protected Geographical Indication (IGP)
A white wine made from Chardonnay, Vermentino and Negroamaro grapes grown in Puglia on sandy and calcareous soils. The vineyards are between 10 and 15 years old. Winemaking involves destemming and cooling to 6-8 °C, gentle pressing, static settling and fermentation at 15-16 °C. The wine is aged for 3 months on the fine lees after separation from the gross lees, then stabilised, bottled and left in bottle for 30-40 days. It has a yellow colour with green reflections. On the nose it is elegant and persistent, on the palate fruity and fresh. Ideal with risottos, fish, fresh cheeses and white meats. Serve at 8-10 °C.
